Super Junior’s Heechul shows support for A Pink

On May 3rd, Super Junior’s Heechul posed for a picture with junior girl group A Pink!

The star tweeted, “With A Pink. A Pink who participated in our ‘Youngstreet‘ together. They said it’s not the ‘crab dance’, but rather the ‘butterfly dance’. I memorized the [names of] sweet Bomi, Namjoo, Eunji, Naeun, Yookyung, Hayoun, and Chorong. Agood~.”

In the accompanying photo, Heechul is surrounded by the A Pink members after wrapping up his radio program. After seeing the picture, Heechul’s friends showed jealousy over his job, leading the idol to reply, “I didn’t know a radio DJ could be this happy.”

Netizens commented, “I think they got close. I’m jealous”, “I want to receive attention from Heechul oppa”, “Everyone’s cute and charming“.

Heechul previously showed interest for the girls when he tweeted about them on April 24th.

Super Junior Donghae tweets photo with SHINee Minho

A photo showing Super Junior's Donghae and SHINee's Minho's outstanding good looks has become a topic of hot interest.

On April 2nd, Donghae posted the photo on his Twitter, along with the short message: "Good morning. Together with Minho. Have a good day."

In the picture, Donghae can be seen dressed in a white shirt with a black vest, while Minho is dressed in a tidy suit. They immediately captured attention for their superior looks -- indeed, worthy of members of an idol group.

Lee Seunggi confesses his liking for SNSD's Yoona once again

Lee Seunggi has confessed his admiration for SNSD's Yoona once again! On a recent appearance on MBC's Yoo JaeSuk and Kim WonHee’s 'Come To Play’, Lee Seunggi revealed a common misconception about him being a difficult man to approach. Further confessing that people will eventually find him friendly once they get to know him.

Later on the show, the topic about his ideal type was raised by his mentor, Lee Seonhee, when he said, “When I asked SeungGi ‘Isn’t SNSD’s YoonA pretty?’, he just answered ‘yes’”. With the attention back to Lee Seunggi's ideal type once again, he confessed that, “I like SNSD’s YoonA. I think she’s really pretty”.

This isn't the first time Lee Seunggi has exposed his liking for the Girls' Generation member, as he also previously confessed on talk variety show "Strong Heart".

Jang Geunsuk and SNSD top Oricon Weekly Chart

On its first day of release, both Jang Geunsuk and SNSD's Japanese single took over Oricon Daily Chart with first and second place respectively. After topping the Oricon Daily Chart for a couple of days, Jang Geunsuk was bumped down to second place after SNSD finally overtook the Korean actor and singer with "Mr. Taxi."

Both singles, "Let Me Cry (Jang Geunsuk)" and "Mr. Taxi (SNSD)," were released on April 27th and have been competing for first place since then. "Let Me Cry" sold 119,149 units for the first week with SNSD's "Mr. Taxi" selling 100,461 units.

Jang Geunsuk is the first solo male artist to have topped the Oricon Weekly Chart, the chart's second male in history to achieve this after Japanese singer Masahiko Kondo. Jang Geunsuk has confirmed his popularity in Japan after releasing his solo single, "Let Me Cry."

The Korean actor and singer said, "I was excited enough to have topped the daily chart but after hearing that I've also topped weekly chart as well, I was totally at loss of words at first. No.1 1 on Oricon weekly chart is an enormous gift from my fans and I will work even harder to repay them with good music.”

Following Jang Geunsuk in second place is SNSD with their 3rd Japanese and 1st original single, "Mr. Taxi." SNSD took over Japan after re-releasing several of their Korean hits in Japanese for their entry into the Japanese music market. They have been gaining attention in the country for their legs especially.

PROJECT SUPER JUNIOR

Project ini merupakan ide dari Cheonsa Production (@cheonsa_P) yang merupakan Event Organizer all about Kpop. @cheonsa_P mengajak @IndonesiaWantSJ dan @ELF_SUJUisONE untuk bekerja sama sebagai partner. Rencananya project ini akan dilaksanakan 2 kali yaitu hari minggu tanggal 8 mei 2011 dan hari sabtu tanggal 4 juni 2011 dengan project yang berbeda.

1. Project pertama bertajuk “SIGNING BANNER PROJECT SUPER JUNIOR” yang akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 8 mei 2011 akan dimonas dimulai dari jam 10.00 WIB – 17.00 WIB.

Teknis acara ini adalah ELF diberikan kesempatan untuk menandatangani banner sepanjang 110 m x 1,5 m dengan tulisan “WELCOME SUPER JUNNIOR FROM INDONESIAN ELF” dengan foto mereka dibawah tulisan tersebut. Project ini membutuhkan donasi dari para ELF maka dari itu ELF dimintai donasi sebanyak Rp 10.000/orang (untuk mengganti biaya pembuatan banner). Registrasi pendataan dan pembayaran LANGSUNG ditempat (on the spot) tanpa transfer.

2. Project kedua bertajuk “Saphire Blue Light Project SUPER JUNIOR” yang akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 8 mei 2011 dimonas dimulai dari jam 17.00 WIB – 19.00 WIB.

Teknis acara ini adalah para ELF yang datang membawa LS Super Junior. Saat keadaan sudah mulai gelap maka kita akan menyalakan LS tersebut dan bersama2 menyanyikan Shinning Star dan Song For You (maksudnya adalah lagu ini kita persembahkan untuk super junior dan berharap agar mereka selalu bersinar seperti bintang).

3. Project ketiga bertajuk “Blue Sky From ELF To SUPER JUNIOR” yang akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 Juni 2011 pukul 13.00 WIB.

ELF yang pada tanggal 8 Mei 2011 sudah datang ke monas DIHARAPKAN dateng lagi ke istora untuk project ketiga kami (yang nonton ataupun tidak menonton acara KIMCHI) yaitu mereka diharuskan menuliskan permohonan diselembar kertas kecil yang sudah disiapkan dari rumah. Kertas tersebut akan dimasukan kedalam balon dan nanti balon tersebut akan di terbangin bareng-bareng saat super junior datang (balon tersebut kita terbangkan untuk menyambut super junior). Bagi kalian yang sudah terdaftar di project pertama dan kedua kami, secara free kalian akan mendapatkan kupon untuk mendapatkan balon gratisnya. Dan bagi kalian yang baru bisa datang saat project ketiga ini tidak usah khawatir kalian juga masih bisa mengikutinya dengan mendatangi stand balon kami dan kalian HARUS registrasi data dan memberi donasi sama sebesar Rp 10.000. Kalau yang sudah dateng tanggal 8 mei tapi gabisa dateng lagi tanggal 4 juni kami ga maksa yang penting tanda tangan kalian sudah ada dibanner tapi kemungkinan memang kalian tidak bisa ikut project pelepasan balon bersama.

buat ELF yang berada diluar Jakarta, Kalian juga tetap bisa mengikuti acara ini, syarat dan ketentuan :

Sediakan kertas A4, tulis masing-masing wish kalian di kertas tersebut. 1 kertas untuk 1 kelompok. Kasih jarak antara wish 1 dengan yang lainnya. Karena nanti masing2 wish itu akan digunting kertasnya dan dimasukan kedalam balon untuk diterbangkan.

SM Entertainment plans for South American tour in July!

"This time, it's South America!"

TVXQ, BoA, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, f(x) and other SM Entertainment artists are preparing for a tour in South America. According to SM Entertainment representatives, the company is currently planning to hold a series of "SM Town Live" concerts in South American countries such as Brazil and Chile in July.

The South American tour has been in the planning stage since last year, when SM Entertainment artists embarked on the "SM Town World Tour" and held an unforgettable concert in Los Angeles, USA.

Due to the popularity of Kpop and SM Entertainment artists in South America, the company plans to tap into this untouched market with a series of concerts in the continent. In February, a Brazilian program asked viewers "Which Korean singer do you want to come to Brazil?" and SM Entertainment artists dominated the results, with Super Junior, BoA, SNSD and SHINee taking the #1 to #4 spots.

SM Entertainment is already taking major steps in making their mark in foreign countries, as it was recently announced that on June 10th, SM artists will hold "SM Town in Paris" and mark Europe's first Kpop concert ever. Tickets for the show sold out within 15 minutes and large-scale protests are happening all over Europe for SM Entertainment to add another concert date.

Last year, SM Town held concerts in Los Angeles, Shanghai, Seoul and Tokyo. This year, SM Entertainment will expand into two continents that Kpop artists have never stepped into, Europe and South America.

SM Entertainment representatives stated, "SM's ripple effect is really amazing. They have already taken over USA, China and Japan and are now accomplishing the unheard precedent of going to Europe and South America. Isn't this the path of a true 'World Star'?"
